IIAV Rocks Virginia Beach!

I don’t have an actual “rant” to make this week, but I do want to thank Lisa Harmon & Anna McEachern & the entire IIAV (Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia) organization for having me as one of their main speakers this past week at their annual conference held in Virginia Beach.

The topic of, Rob’s Secret Sauce on How to Find, Develop, and Retain insurance sales producers seemed to hit home with a lot of the attendees.

It was an honor to be invited and I hope to do it again.

The conference was a great mix of independent insurance brokerage/agency owners and agents alike.

Lots of great networking and exchanging of ideas and business practices.  And everyone seemed to be having so much fun too!  We need more of these insurance forums.  We are all in this together!

I did not realize the IIAV has so many members and offers so much to the Virginia insurance community.

For example, not only does IIAV offer liability insurance to the insurance community, but it also offers 9 different professional designations to insurance professionals including: AAI, ACSR, AFIS, AIAM, AIAO, AIP, AISM, CLCS, CRIS, and MLIS.

I encourage you to keep the ball rolling, Lisa.  This an event that everyone in the Virginia insurance community should be attending on an annual basis!
