A Very Big Thank You!

It’s been almost two years now since I started posting my Rob’s Rants blog every Friday morning on LinkedIn and on my website.  Today, I want to report back to you on just what an impact this blog has had on many people’s lives. 

Your many comments, texts, emails, and phone calls in response to Rob’s Rants have had quite an impact.

I want to thank all my loyal readers for making the following happen:

We have placed six candidates (loyal readers) in the past nine months with insurance clients.  Each one of these placements was a game-changer for the candidate.  They had been overworked, underpaid, and under appreciated by their former firms.  They are doing very well in their new positions.  They have all reported back that being happy in their job and employer has made all the difference in their personal lives as well.

One candidate is now able to work remotely on her family farm and help her sister take care of her ailing mother.  Another has transitioned from working remotely to working hybrid in WDC and has already been promoted after only six months.  She loves being back in the office.

We secured four new insurance brokerage clients, two of which, hired two of the candidates mentioned just above.

Your feedback was the inspiration behind, “2023 Employee Satisfaction Report”, which was published in July of 2023.  What started out as a report distributed to my regional insurance clients quickly expanded regionally to candidates/readers until achieving over 35,500 total readers among insurance professionals across the country.

A follow-on study is now being prepared that will report on what drives employees away from their current firms.  Looking at the initial findings, these results are going to surprise you.  Look for this within the next 30 days.

17 insurance professionals contacted me personally to tell me that our articles on managing their annual performance reviews and getting a raise ended up…getting them significant raises and promotions!

Five of our client hiring authorities have now enlisted our help in coaching them on how to build a more employee-centric work culture where their employees can be empowered, enabled, and rewarded in a more positive way. This will impact more than 230 staff in these firms.

I have been invited and have accepted the opportunity to be one of the speakers at this year’s Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia (IIAV) Convention in Virginia Beach, VA on June 24th. 

There are many other positive things that have come out of Rob’s Rants based on your continual feedback that have directly impacted the lives of our readers. Too many to write about here.
