Quarterly Salary Update

The response to our 2013 Half-Year Salary Report was overwhelming with many of our clients reaching back out to us with, “Please provide these salary reports on a quarterly basis.”

So we have done this and provided it to you in our monthly newsletter.  We have also provided it below as well.

A few interesting developments:

• Hiring activity continues unabated.
• Maryland and WDC demand seems to be outstripping demand of similar positions in neighboring Virginia, particularly, in the southern part of the state.  This may change if the government “shutdown” continues.
• Clients are increasingly demanding certifications such as CIC, CISR, CLU, etc.  The premium for these salaries that certified professionals command now is almost 20% now.
